In Prison Ministry

Similar to Jesus’s great commission that involves knowing Christ, growing in understanding of His teachings and commands, and then going out into the world to make more disciples for Christ (Matthew 28:19-20, NKJV), Set Free on the Inside Ministries begins with helping inmates know Christ. Through Bible studies and regular church style services at multiple prison facilities, Set Free on the Inside Ministries staff and volunteer pastors or trained chaplains, have already begun ministering to and establishing relationships with inmates. This relationship allows Set Free on the Inside Ministries to personally share the Gospel good news and the hope of salvation for everyone despite their past. This ministry program also is an opportunity to help inmates answer many questions about God. In prisons there are many conflicting teachings and thoughts surrounding a relationship with Jesus. Through open and respectful interaction with inmates, Set Free on the Inside Ministries can provide answers and direction to their spiritual searching, leading them to accepting Jesus as their Lord and savior.
